I feel that the stock exhaust sound is better in AT's than MT's

Other day i was given a 06 AT loaner and the exhaust sound was much better than mine 05 MT, i know for sure that 06's have the same exhaust

Is it true

That's why I put an HKS rear section exhaust on mine. Now that it's been on over a year, it even sounds better.

i got an 05 loaner not too long ago. I got an 03 and i immediatly noticed the exhaust note in the 05. It was deeper and had more of that infiniti sound. I was determined to get that sound on my 03 sedan. So I just recently installed a coupe middy. WOW sounds so sick. sounds better than the 05 loaner. I highly suggest getting one if you want that sound. I don't think there is a difference in the 6mt's at autos. Although, the 05's do have a different midsection than the 03's, I think. Get a coupe middy. Well worth it. I can't help but drive with my windows down, even when it's 20 degrees out lol

Is it a "direct fit" or do you have to ad a bit of pipe to make it fit?

it is a direct fit. Fits perfectly. It's off the coupes so it's the same thing pretty much. Slides right on.

lol I don't think it's any different could just be because the car is newer than yours? Not sure. I haven't heard anything about 6mt's sounding differnet than autos. I could be wrong so someone could back me up on that. I don't think so though.

how much is a coupe midpipe and is it equivelant to the BBK hiflow H pipe I put on my mustang a few yrs back?

Would a Midas or other muffler shop install and what is reasonable?

There can't be a drone if I am running stock mufflers right? Is it still worth it with the stock mufflers?

Which mufflers can you use if you want a deeper sound with no drone?

any sound clips?

No issues with smog inspection right?

Ok thanks
