HELP! Mid-pipe bolt size/installation question
HELP! Mid-pipe bolt size/installation question
Hey guys,
I am going to be changing out my coupe mid-pipe for a 05/06 sedan mid-pipe this week. I want to grind down and punch out the studs on the flanges, and I was wondering what bolts will fit the holes.
Can anyone give a bolt size recommendation? Also, how difficult is it to punch/grind out/c clamp out the studs?
Thanks for the help, I've attached the exhaust video of my coupe mid-pipe; I will make another one for comparison with my 05/06 mid-pipe.

I had to drill out one of the bolts on my muffler when putting the middy on. The bolt snapped when I was un-doing it. I forgot what I used, may a 3\4 bolt with 2 washers and a nut. I forget. Drilling out the welded bolt wasn't too bad. Took a LOT of muscle though. Start with a smaller bit and then get bigger and bigger until it is the size of the bolt that is already welded on there. It worked great and is still working flawlessly
