hey guys,

did a search and didn't find anything. maybe i didn't search hard enough?

anyways, my driver side tip is pushed more to the passenger side and it doesn't match up to the cutouts of the bumper. it looks goofy and i was wondering how i could fix it.

i figured it could be the tension in the pipes. but the more i try to force it back, it always goes back to leaning more towards the passenger side?

any fixes for this?

i'll get pics soon. i just wanted to post this so maybe i could get an answer without a pic. i think you guys know what i'm talking about right? thanks for any help y'all!

 

You probably just need to bend the left hanger a little bit to get it centered. The hanger is pretty thick so it will take some force. I've seen some exhaust shops put a torch to the hanger briefly, to soften it up a bit before bending it. Hopefully, it's not terribly off center.

Have you even tried calling Tony at the shop? Have you REALLY looked at the directions sent with the systems - they do address things like this.

Rick, I don't have instructions that came with the exhaust. I didn't buy the exhaust from Tony.

Is there a PDF format of the instructions?

rick, any info on the install manual? anyone else know how to fix this?

i've tried to slide that rubber mount from side to side, but it always slides back to its natural position, i.e. unaligned with the bumper
