Md Icopper Iso Spacer

I just ordered my 5/16 ISO Copper Isothermal spacer. I have a couple questions however. First what is the difeence between the Z and G spacers? Motordyne shows two different prices, depending on model G vs/ Z. Second how noticeable s the Copper plate once it is installed, and does any one have before and after pictures? I would like to ad the isothermal spacer and copper plate, but don't want it to stick out like a sore thumb when I take the car in for service.

The Z kit comes with spacers for the Z's OEM sturt bar, that's why their is a price diffence between the G and Z.

If you take your G in for service, and the techs don't notice the spacer and/or the TB heater, I would be worried.

Like Citymunky said, it's probably because of the spacer for the actual oem strut bar on the Z. Other than that, the actual spacer is exactly the same.

Also, I have the 5/16 iso thermal spacer and it's not noticeable at all unless you really know VQ's. Even with the cover off, you still have to actually look for a modification or else you really won't notice it.

Not sure about the copper plate though...

The Copper TB heater is about as visible as the spacer. Not much to see when its installed.

With the cover installed there is absolutely nothing visible.

I bet your engine loves all that cold air.

most tech's will not notice the spacer... the only people who will notice it is someone who knows exactly what to look for...
