aftermarket midpipe with hks muffler

will the hks muffler fit on a tanabe midpipe. i like the dual tip look than the big single tip look. also how will it sound. i did a search and nothing helpful... i am a g newbie to the forums.

next questions is that which is quieter an hks muffler or the tanabe midpipe and muffler. i just installed the tanabe setup and like it alot but would like it to be more of a sleeper look and would like to know sound difference.

i attempted to buy a tanabe midpipe for my hks muffler on my sedan but was told by a reputable vendor that they would not match up. IIRC the flanges were different styles and incompatible. did you take any pictures of the flanges on the midpipe? the only ones i can find online are not at the correct angle.

do you think a stock 04 or 05 muffler will fit?

considering the stock midpipe is a compatible design with the hks, i would guess no.
