hehe the reason i was asking is becuase power gains are good.. but too loud isnt my taste right now.. my old camry was pretty loud.. hehe couldent hear my music! LOL

well if you want to hear how it sounds ill make a wav and post it ok. im not pressuring you guys to do it. its just personal preferance and im just posting to let you know its ok to take out the cats and get no check engine light. im just sharing info to you guys but if you dont want anymore i wont post it. anyhows the straight pipes are for sale if there is anyone interested.

 

Thanks for the info on what you have done. Some members will take your info and use it and some won't. That's the purpose of this site-I don't think anyone was talking down to you. They were just stating their opinion. If you like it loud go for it and I hope you gain some dyno proven numbers. Did the shop ask questions as to why you wanted the cats removed? Also have I seen you on Macrossworld?

Just got in last night missed a couple nights of posts. This is great news about the no engine check. I actually have been thinking about going with straight pipes aswell. But Im worried about a signifigant low end torque loss. I guess the dyno numbers will show us.

As far as sound is concered, yea its loud, Im young(20) so I still have a few years untill its too loud for me.
