Test Pipe help decide

Just want to let you guys know that I did try to search on the forum before i wrote this post, but I didnt have any luck on finding specific answer. So I hope no one me...

Ok, I have a Nismo weldina exhaust system, and a stock headers, I would like to put a test pipe, the thing is I dunno which one to get. And are there consequences that i might have in the future? Like smog test, o2 sensor error messages on my dash, etc, etc, (dont know the rest, if there's more please advise me).. Or this stuff had already been fixed? Is there some other things that i need to purchase prior to installing a test pipe? Or things that I need to consider?

Looking forward to hear some ideas from you guys! Thanks in advance!

Oh yeah, i know my exhaust is dirty, I tried to clean it while it was on the lift but the mechanic doesn't want me to go beneath the car

I would go with Highflow cats, either way, Fast Intentions (FI) makes very good exhaust products..

if you're not FI, stick with hfc. the marginal gains with test pipes on an n/a car over hfc is not worth the downsides that come with it (ie the smell, chance of throwing cel, etc)

+1 on the HFC

Test pipes just add too much volume and rasp if you are not turbo.

i like my TP's with stock exhaust, but maybe im biased... i have topspeed pro 1 TP's, if you get resonated (search) they will sound fine, but you will have to do the spark plug gap install (search) to not get the 02 warning. umm. any more questions PM me.

when i get back from class ill help you out man, its really simple. my aim is red06g35guy. ill sign on around 3:30 and help you, otherwise PM me.

if other guys can link him to TP non-fouler mod and TP RESONATED sound clips that would be great

you will not gain any recognizable sound from HFC's, the good stuff is the illegal stuff! you will fail inspection if they have a sniff test as well.

HFC for performance (non FI) Resonated TP for raw sound non-resonated for 4-banger sound.
