Hacking the exhaust: sedan muffler on an acura legend?
Sup driver forums I have some questions for you guys about your exhaust. My amigo has a coupe and it has got to be the sexiest sounding OEM exhaust I have ever heard in my life. The only problem with slapping a coupe muffler on an acura legend is the orientation. I was looking at the sedan and it seems to be the right style, but does anybody know if it will
a. sound like the coupe and
b. fit on an acura legend?
Thanks in advance, if you guys have any questions about legends let me know. (they're old but not forgotten!)

The resulting sound is a combination of various factors, not just the muffler. Things like total pipe length, diameter, the cats, etc., etc. will affect the sound. And of course, your Acura engine is definitly not going to sound the same as the VQ!
Only way to see if you like it is to try it.

Even if you managed to hook the sedan exhaust on, it won't sound like the coupe. You might want to get a good listen to a stock sedan exhaust before going through this type of work.
This is a total ricer post!!!
Putting an infiniti muffler on an Acura will not make the Acura sound anything close to an Infiniti, period. Coupe, Sedan, whatever, they are different animals.
The engines "look" similar ??? Wow wow WOW!
