Fast Intentions Install Q - how much to trim Heatshield?

One more question I thought I would ask. In the directions from Tony it says to trim the heatshield and re-install. How much and where did you guys trim it?

If you hold the passenger's side muffler up, you'll see where it is going to hit. I trimmed mine while it was still on the car with some tin-snips.

It should be in the instructions. If you cannot find it just give me a call and I will walk you through it...

Thanks Tony - the instructions just say "Trim Heatshield". It doesn't say how much or where. Do you have a photo of one you did?

So you have to customize this exhaust? It's not just bolt right on and that's it you have to trim and crap?

He didn't say anything about trimming or customizing the exhaust. The heat shield above the passenger side mufller needs to be trimmed.

Actually the pictures in the instructions are basically black boxes with lines running through them. I guess your copier is dirty. Can you post the pdf file or word doc on the site?
