Injen CAI vs. Ztube/JWT popcharger

It's about that time for intake. Injen shows +11 for their CAI and I've heard the ztube/jwt popcharger can do +8-9. Help me decide.

Re: Injen CAI vs. Ztube/JWT popcharger

honestly to tell you the truth. All the intakes are the same. I went with the injen one. But the 11+ hp added was under PERFECT CONDITIONS. When i go to the track i honestly dont notice a 11+hp gain. I would get the intake and also the technosquare ECU. that way your intake will get the 11+hp gain.

Re: Injen CAI vs. Ztube/JWT popcharger

I just installed my Ztube/pop charger 30 min ago. I love it. The sound above 3k RPM is intoxicating. The car also feels like it pulls a little harder on the butt dyno. I would recommend this mod to anyone.

Re: Injen CAI vs. Ztube/JWT popcharger

I've heard the Injen (somebody else) and the ZT/PC Combo (mine). To me they sound pretty much the same. His Injen had the extension on it so it was further down in the engine compartment but it still sounded about the same. As far as price vs. HP gain, I'd go with the Z-Tube/Pop Charger combo. Got to love that whistle!!

I was thinking of doing the Injen CAI with the JWT popcharger.
I'd like to know the gains on that combo.

Re: Injen CAI vs. Ztube/JWT popcharger

I found dyno's of both the injen and pop charger on www.everythingG35.com. Also, will people please come to some kind of consensus on which one is better because I wanna get one of them but I'm going out of my head trying to choose.

I'd also like some factual evidence between those two, and the Stillen cold air box. In the interest of keeping her stock looking, I really don't want that big phallus under my hood. Nor do I want a whistle. I prefer a muscle car sounding growl. Is the Stillen airbox with Z tube any better than stock?

You'll get a growl with the Stillen and Z tube. You won't get a whistle but like a sucking sound at around 3.5k rpms...like sssscccchhhhuuuppp
