Installed Fujita F5 intake

Installed it in 30 minutes flat.. Could have done it in 25, but I didn't have an 11mm socket so I had to use pliers to tighten the T- clamps.

It sounds great! I'm scared that I didn't do a proper install because the intake whistles sometimes.. Is there a leak somewhere? I looked over it, and its very solid. The intake won't budge if I try to move it around.. Filter is on perfect along with the coupler.

I don't have a camera, but I'll go and use my camera phone for pics.

My Injen CAI did the same noise. It always bothered me a little bit even though I knew it was completely normal.

the reason why it wistles is because its sucking in air..i have the same intake on my g35c..man..it sounds nice..especially when you go above 4k rpms..when you hold the gas and at a stedy speed you can hear it wistles more..

I have two problems with Fujita intakes. 1. There is no heat shield, 2. For what you pay you should be getting a CARB certified part.

I got something in my box say carb approved.. but it wasn't a sticker, just a sheet of paper.. I also got a bottle of NOS energy drink inside.

I'm thinking of buying an extension pipe and a coupler to make it a true CAI
