Re: Final verdict: high flow cats

Technosquare did a flow comparison on the flow of the cats and the test pipes. The random tech cats flowed the best out of all the cats, and the test pipes only flowed a little bit better the rt cats. You could find the chart on my350z, but I think their search function is not working. I hope this was helpful.

I think Kinetix is best when you consider price. As with all other high flow cats out there... remember that with the sedan there are fitment issues because of the floorboard.

Re: Final verdict: high flow cats

When I ordered my Crawford cats, Doug told me that there would be no fitment issues.

I spoke with LSD at Kinetix about the fitment and he said that they have been corrected for the floorboard issue.

I am cheap, I went with the Kinetix . I have no fitment issue with the floorboard heat shield .

Re: Final verdict: high flow cats

Does anyone know off hand which of the cats are the quietest? I would like to get a pair but I don't want much more noise than stock. Anyone go to a meet and hear the differences, if any?

Re: Final verdict: high flow cats

I thought TS's test was only between the RT cats and test pipes. i wasnt aware that it involved the other cats as well.
if the floorboard issue has been correct on the kinetix for the sedan, then IMO, thats the way to go for price alone. installation is a b#%#$ though. wonder how much that'd cost me.

Re: Final verdict: high flow cats

If you were to put the RT, Kinetix, and the Crawford high flow cats on a flow bench test, I'm pretty sure they would vary by small percentages. I would be more cocnerned with fitment, price, and quality. Performance wise I'm sure they are all very close to each other.
