exhaust smell

stock exhaust but getting a stinky smell like sulfur or hard boiled eggs when i get on the throttle sometimes. what could this mean?

your cats might have gone bad. thats what they usually smell like when they are done.

Its either that if he gets on it all the time and dogs it or if it is fairly new and isn't driven hard then the exhaust could still be in the break in process. That doesn't happen too often but I have seen it at times where the exhaust has
3xxx miles on it or more and hasn't ever been driven hard so the exhaust is still in its "new stage".

car has 14.5k miles on it and ive driven hard a bit. seems to been noticable after putting stock intake back on with a k+n filter. removed my injen cai. make any sense that this could be it?

Not that I can think of... Are you positive the smell is coming from the exhaust and not under the hood?

Could be a really dirty air filter, shouldn't smell that strong though
