doin some more breathing mods, will i see a difference?
hey guys i was just curious if i has going to see much of a "noticeable" difference in the performance of my car. the only mod i have done to my car is a HKS HiPower Ti exhaust setup, i plan on adding a injen CAI and a 5/16 plenum spacer. is there anything i should do (ie tune, ecu reset) after i get these mods done? also what else can i do thats fairly easy to install myself and get good power out of, besides going turbo or supercharged of course? thanks in advance.
not to be rude but have you searched?
the spacer is the only thing you will get any gains out of... yes you should tune or reset the ecu... tune would be better but resetting the ecu would be fine too

you made your car exhale better but not inhale
Deff do the spacer and intake
+1 on Stillen and Z tube. Cheap and really good gains.

If you take the G to the Dead Sea the 1083 ft below sea level will boost the power ouput by 3.3%...........this is significantly more than any of the bolt on intake NA systems do! Singly or in combination.

What is it with people these days thinking that sound>Hp.. I'm sort of being a hypocrit cause I got my intake for the sound(all they're good for anyway).. but if I'm spending 300 bucks on spacer and 1K plus on a exhaust then **** the sound.. gimmie the power.
HyeG: From what I've read on this forum, the best thing to do is go FI for power.. You really won't get anywhere N/A because nissan pretty much got the most out of this motor.. The only real power you will see is FI.
If you want to feel something, just get nitrous.

But FI is the most cost effective for power gains.

Sometimes I wonder why I've spent so much money on parts that don't yield enough power for the price. But then again, im going FI in the future. So bolt-on mods, like an exhaust for example, are worth it in the long run [for me].
