Exhaust expert: please come in

Hello=
i currently have JIC non-resonated single exhaust on my g35c. I also have crawford header, FI non-resonated test pipe, and crawford plenum.
IT IS FREAKIN LOUD as hell
haha well its my daily drive plus, my sister is also going to drive it next year (she hates my exhaust being too loud)
she makes me to change it=___=

i really like my JIC and am being different from everyone else in toronto...

so here is my question:
is there any way to "MAKE IT QUIETER?"

or else, i have to sell it and to get dual....

thanks for the help!!!

Solution

I highly recommend these inserts.

I have headers, HF metallic cats and a FI true dual. They make the exhaust sound amazing and keep the power.

I would say one insert. The key here is you want to put it as close as possible to the front of the car (the hotter exhaust gasses)

I’m using two inserts (3 disc version) just after the cats. I did not use the end caps for better flow. It calmed down an exhaust that sounded like it eats small children to an awesome sounding, insanely low grumble, that’s louder than stock but totally acceptable. It’s my daily driver and I love it.

3 disc for 2 1/2 diam pipe

summit racing sells them also

Don't spend a dime....!

Here's a way to quiet your exhaust and not spend a dime, reinstall your OEM
cats. You don't want your sister driving a car that's illegal, or maybe you do?
