How to make my exhaust louder...

I searched, before any of you ask.

I love the way our cars sound, but I think it could be a little louder. I like a few exhaust systems, but I don't make enough money to spend close to $1,000 or more for barely any power. I've been looking into the Fast Intentions test pipes.

Anyone have them? Would this make my car significantly louder? Would it still have that gorgeous exhaust note?

Lastly, for a person in my case, resonated or non-resonated?

Thanks
Matt

But would the exhaust sound smooth? I've heard other cars that have testpipes with OEM exhaust and they sound very raspy.

i've had fast intentions metallic cats with the oem exhaust and it sounded perfect - no rasp. i can't speak personally for their resonated test pipes with the oem exhaust, but their resonated test pipes are top notch.

Well overall I'm looking for the same sound I have now but just a bit louder. So not to ask a new question but, is this the best way to go about that?

I assume an intake wouldn't do much for this car...

I had the fast Intentions exhaust installed before I installed my Fast Intentions Resonated Test Pipes.

The change the resonated test pipes made were very noticeable in sound & performance. They made my car VERY loud... in a good way

I'm not sure how the F.I Resonated test pipes would sound on the stock exhaust. But I can assure you that F.I Resonated test pipes are the way to go if you're looking for great test pipes with a quality resonater.

There is another thread here in which Fi Res TP's were installed with stock exhaust. It has rasp at cold start and flooring it. When engine heats up to normal op temp there is no more rasp. There is also a sound clip on the forum, unless it was taken down already. Check it out, its the setup i am going for. Stock exhaust with FI Res. TP's the best!

Hmm...sorry to ask this of you but do you remember where you found it? I searched for a whole day just on stock exhaust with ANY testpipe and found nothing. Youtube, Streetfire...couldn't find a clip.
