yeah, i've been told that APEX'i make's the best filters around... i'm interested to see what kind of filtration the OEM filter has in comparison.

That's how the new Amsoil nano-fiber filters are cleaned. But they still recommend replacing them every 25K.
Biggest problem with stock filters is they clog up fast, and need regular replacing to get the best out of them.
Of course nobody in their right mind is going to spend $24 on a stock paper filter (like shown on the chart).

Where's the best place to buy an Amsoil filter for a 2005 G35? I checked the local Murray's and AutoZone and neither carries their line.... I live in the Detroit area but I'm willing to mail order if they don't sell them locally (suggestion for that option are also welcome). Thanks!

Buy directly from Amsoil, thats what I did.
