True Flow Air Filters

Does anyone use True Flow Air Filters? They seem to have better filtration than K&N

Having NO filter would flow more than K&N also. Point being, making it flow isn't hard. Making it flow AND filter dirt is hard. And traditionally, foam has turned out the very worst results in this regard. Well not as bad as the SS Blitz filter but who would run basicly a wire mesh for an air filter?

i'm running the Blitz SUS filter w/the pop-charger kit and it works great. they're really popular in Japan, they're not so popular out here because of the price.

What does "works great" mean? Flow? Maybe. Filtering ability? Can't be because these things only filter out small animals.

nah, i remember compareing the micron counts and it wasn't off by much. the crown is lower to cause that suction effect. it's used on a lot of turbo aps, so if it's clean enough for a turbo then it's clean enough for me.

You did see that test right? The only thing worse was the HKS foam filter. Which is also used by turbo guys.

Just because it's used by turbo guys doesnt' mean it's a good filter. They might use it because it FLOWS. Not because it filters decent. Which it does not.

I don't understand how the apexi can have zero maintenance? The dirt has to be collecting somewhere

Because the Apexi is a throw away filter. No maintenance! It flows well and filters well. But you gotta buy a new one every time.

It could be their version that you clean by blowing air though the back. Dunno
