If you get a cat back exhaust, you won't need a Ypipe.

Get the catback with a set of test pipes and you will make good gains.

well i use to not want test pipes because they are illegal.. and i didnt want the smell. o by the way, do aftermarket y pipes also give off a smell?
but since they are both illegal i guess its not a big deal to get test pipes.. my friend was telling me how much he loved his y pipe and how nice it sounded when he was driving because it was right under him.. so hmmmm. this is a tough choice.. whats the sound differnce in the two?

Why would y-pipe be illegal. Y-pipe is part of catback system which means it has nothing to do with car's emissions. It is purely for sound and "higher" exhaust flow.

I read online that if you replace your y-pipe with an aftermarker y-pipe its illegal.. I guess that guy was wrong though. I think im gunna buy the cat back exhaust and buy the y pipe. i dont want test pipes.. dont want the smell. Im buy Megan Racing exhaust and y pipes so its gunna be cheap... 400$ for the exhaust and 150$ for the y-pipes.
