Stillen ZTube/Intake Kit vs. Stillen CAI?
Stillen ZTube/Intake Kit vs. Stillen CAI?
New dude here and yeah I used the search quite a bit, but really couldn't find anything regarding this. So in looking at the various intakes on Stillen's website there is that Z-Tube with K&N filter and air box kit, but also their CAI kit. That being said, what is really the difference between the two things? Are they mutually exclusive or can you do a Z-Tube, CAI, and that airbox? Last question: individually does one setup allow for better HP/torque than the other or would any gains really be negligible and more of a placebo effect? Much thanks.

Every intake will do nothing for you as far as performance goes.. they're simple noise makers and a reuseable filter..
However based off of design the Stillen Intake would be one of the few that would NOT create a power loss..
But not a single intake will create a GAIN compaired to stock from our experience when we dynoed Injen, AEM/NISMO, POPCharger, Z-Tube, Stillen, SpeedForce at a dyno day back in 05
PopCharger and Injen Sounds the best IMO =P
