I had a AEM Cold Air on mine, loved it, but i love the hks filter, looks unique, like a braaain but in IMO JWT Popcharger FTW!!! Got one installed on my friends G, holy sh*t only intake i know of that actually makes a freaking noise and a difference lol but to O.P if those are your choices, HKS!

I really love the looks and the sound of my setup, i get compliments on both. plus it performs pretty good too, the Fujita doesn't have a heat shield and will lose a lot of performance.

why is your rubber looks so shinny?? the thing that connects intake and filter..did you buy it or it came with the ARC suction pipe?

lol heat sheild... They don't do anything. No matter what you have, your pipe is going to be HOT.. ARC pipe, injen, fujita... whatever. That pipe is going to be hot so your still going to suck in hot air. As for the heat sheild.. its only covering one side of the filter.. The whole engine bay gets hot not just one side. Even so, that heat sheild gets very hot too. Can you guess what I'm going to say next? Yup, when the heat sheild gets hot its going to EMIT heat into the filter anyway.

I cannot stress how poorly that blitz ss filter performs as far as actually filtering anything.

None produce power so why spend all that money on the JDM crap? I prefered my JWT to all the others because of the price and sound. Spend the money on something that works.

to the hater's my intake works, got a full Technosquare reflash & tune... they liked my setup. also yes, the Fujita has been proven to lose 15hp+. sorry, it sucks hot air right off the engine. it does sound really cool though. yeah, the pipe's get hot(BTW, the VQ is known for heat soak even in OEM trim because of the intake plenum) BUT since the JWT heatshield still uses the factory induction scoop it's still gettin' cooler air. also JDM crap? go look up who's building the highest HP G's...

I didn't say it didn't WORK. Hell not using a filter at all will work.

The problem is the Blitz lets everthing but medium sized animals in the engine.

IMHO anyone looking for a filter should actually get something that actually filters. The ironic thing is for all that dirt the Blitz allows into the engine, it's not even the best flowing unit.

For the record, I use the K&N. Not the best in flow or filtering. But I'll take the minor hit on flow in order to protect the engine better.

I truely feel sorry for the HKS guys though.

dude, the site you got all ur info from tested it on an R33. they already took in more dirt in general due to the factory setup. that and the article even said that all that the microns that made it in could do was damage the sensors, that was in like 1996. new improved sensors are used now. if you look closely there's not much of a difference in the K&N and the Blitz. and that's on a Street K&N filter, the off-road one's filter even less and have been used by rally guys forever. more flow equals less filtration... DUH.
