a few quotes:

Overall the Fujita intake seems to have created a loss in power! Not exactly living up to the 10 whp claim, but it definately sounded nice. The car actually seemed to run slightly richer with the Fujita installed and intake air temps were up significantly over stock. Engine acceleration was greatly improved over stock though as can be seen in the comparison chart later in this write up.

This comparison shows us relative engine acceleration times. We can clearly see that the Fujita gets the motor in the higher RPM range quicker, which is why most people's "Butt Dyno" tells them it is making more power and the car feels faster.

As for fujita losing 15+ HP.. Please show me any sign of that because now you're talking out of your a$$. Only way that would be possible is if the car had a blown head gasket and was completely detuned.. Its almost impossible to lose that much HP from an intake.

You don't even have a dyno of before and after from stock to your intake set up.. How are we supposed to believe you? You felt a power increase cause of the noise right? That must mean you gained hp.

No one is getting butt hurt, if anyone its you.
WTF????????
I would agree that the popcharger "heat shield" doesn't do a good job, but it does a better job than no heat shield at all, but the stock heat shielding or even to some extent the stillen heat shielding DOES repel heat from the filter. Who in their right mind would think it doesn't

Why run a filter at all then? throw a piece of mesh over the end of the intake tube and you are good to go!

cool, now let's be G35 buddies again...

to the guy who started this thread:

-you want performance: go w/the Z-tube & OEM air box w/high flow panel filter option

-you want sound or looks: the choice is yours, if you like my or somone else's setup here, then go for it. i'm sure you'll find people like what they run on their own cars.

What is amazing is you actually recommend this filter despite it's horrendous filtering ability.

I just posted the test and the facts. IMHO, it's you that brought the "hate" and what not.
