great thread... there just aren’t enough exhaust question threads out here - I'm certain this one addresses what others don’t

Those that have actuallyu heard Stillen True Dual and F.i. on a coupe. Recommendations please? Seems that Stillen is more of a slight upgrade from stock. F. I. makes it sounds like the G is on hard-core steroids. Am I right?

for sedan yes... for coupe I think the coupe guys might disagree (I'm sedan with gen 1 Stillen, and you are correct as far as sedan goes).

The OP doesn't drive a Sedan. The Stillen on the Sedan is a bit different in sound & looks than the Stillen on the Coupe

I have a Fast Intentions exhaust and hear a Stillen G35 Coupe almost every day (guy near the block).

The Stillen sounds just like stock, but louder. It's as easy as that. Whereas the Fast Intentions has a deeper more distinct tone. They are definately different in sound.

After adding test pipes, my exhaust got more of a rumble/gurgle (gurgle as in what you hear on an STi) and much louder. It sounds more "exotic".

If you can, just hear them in person (to you & rijowysock). There's really no point is us suggesting you an exhaust since we all have different views/opinions of each.

damn bro - you don’t need to yell...

the power gains from Stillen over FI on the coupe have not been documented (from what I’ve seen and read)... most coupe owners I know and read from prefer the FI... In fact, in the dozens of threads about exhaust, I can’t really remember seeing Stillen mentioned as a preferred option for the coupe.

Stillen is a (if not the) leader for sedan - but like I said, on coupe I think you'll find quite a few owners (such as Henry's post) disagree with the opinion that Stillen is better.

Why are we doing this inhere anyway? The topic has been beaten to death in other threads…

hahahahahaha, didn't mean to talk in such agessive font size... yeah, it was just my opinion. just wanted to make it clear that i knew that i he had a coupe and that i wasn't just lost talkin' about the sedan exhaust. yeah, people really love the FI... BUT i dunno, look's a bit cheap and sounds a lil' un-refined too me. now, to each his own SO please do not think i'm bashing you if ya have or want a Fast Intentions setup. they MOS DEF have a much more recognizable exhaust note though, i'll give you that.
