closest to the R8 in terms of the exhaust for the G, but not that close to the R8's not realistically.

The only reason why the HKS might sound louder than the Fast Intentions is because the HKS is a high pitched note, whereas the Fast Intentions is deeper.
Loudness is subjective. But if you don't want it that loud, stick with the stock cats if performance isn't a priority.
HFC will make it a bit louder. Test pipes will make it alot louder.

Resonated test pipes + z-tube on stock exhaust sounds pretty sexy. Then again, I really cannot stand having a very loud exhaust on a luxury car like this, especially considering that I drive it to work in heavy traffic every day. Just make sure you get quality test pipes, my Megans have a slight rattle to them at low rpm that's beginning to **** me off.
