Spacer+ plenum???

Just wondering if I can squeeze in a spacer w/ my crawford plenum? If so which one?

Engine cover already wont fit over my plenum.

dont see why u cant use both if your engine cover dont fit already. also, might want to do sum searching on this site to see about gains/losses of using that plenum + a spacer.

Can or can't isn't the question. It's possible with longer hardware I guess. But you won't get 2x the gains. You might even lose power.

There is already data suggesting that as the spacer gets bigger, the low end power starts to suffer and the gains are moved up in the rpm range. If you go too big, you will lose even more low end and not gain anything up high.

I found a great deal locally for a new MD 5/16th spacer.. Thats why I'm wondering.

I'm willing to go back to stock exhaust to make up for the low end...

I'll also go and dyno to see if I gained anything.. if not, I will sell the spacer.
