i am in turkey so I cant post a sound clip but here is my set up...

(Boosted btw)

HKS with strait pipes ... quality sound on normal driving, quality loud WOT.
Electronic Cut outs behind the downpipe...EXTREMELY LOUD! Mine is angled off to the passenger side so not to make me deaf! hahahaha

combine the ecut out with the wastegate...its a screamer! my g/f says she likes when I "turn the volume up on the exhaust" or "make your car louder"

i really feel bad for the person i pass on the right with their window down!

I love my exhaust note. Custom 3in Magnaflow dual flex pipes, stock cats, deleted rear section and put y-pipe design too 2.5 stainless tips.

Quoting the truth from 2008

I never did get a clip driving, at wide open throttle it pretty much sounded like war it was so loud you couldnt even talk to anyone in the car with you just at cruising speeds. Muscle car guys always gave me thumbs up and asked what the hell was under the hood....."oh turbos that explains it" It is 3.5" down pipes into a short 3" section with little 3" turn downs on it.

Here are pictures of the dumps off the down pipe I have a short video of some light reving the car

Talking

real HKS and Replica HKS all sounds the same.

EXCEPT that the Knock off HKS is actually louder, deeper and more raspe than the real ones ONLY when it's warmed up or get hotter. When it's cold it sounds like shiet. and My friends all point finger and laugh at my lame exhaust
So when my exhaust got all warmed up and hot, I laughed back them because I am the louder one now hahahaha

Real HKS has more consistent sound across all temperature range.

I got an HKS replica and my friend got a real HKS.
His sounds good at all temperature. Mine sounds like crap when it's cold, but it sounds good when it's hot.

To each his own. Just matter of opinion.
So just go to car meet or ask someone you know to fire up his engine and listen. Then buy the one that you like most for yourself. Everyone else opinions will never make you happy.

I don't know much about availability for that model. (maybe discontinued) The R1 Titan is what they're selling now. Maybe you could get lucky and find someone selling what you're looking for used.
