Now, imo, it is the best looking and it is the best overall, which is why i bought it. I was at RXmotors(Vendor here) and i listened to the shop car. Its a 350z with HKS and Megan Resonated pipes which dont even have the biggest resonator in them (actually its quite small from what i have heard) and Charles let me listen and i didnt not hear any rasp whatsoever. To me, you cant judge anything by a youtube video. When i was in the market for an exhaust. I listened to those vids on youtube of the HKS, FI, etc and i couldnt let myself make my decision by listening to a shi1tty, low quality youtube video. Some test pipes may give rasp, probably to every single exhaust, some may not. You just cant base your opinions in such a manner.

Understood. I do agree that the HKS looks really nice. I don't agree with anything else though but I know what you mean.. Youtube is pretty much all low quality. especially w/ sound.

Other than hearing it in person Youtube is the only other way you can hear an exhaust so thats why I'm using Youtube.. I actually have heard HKS in person and its just not my taste in sound.

Let us know how the megans work out for you. I was happy with mine at first, but one of them developed a rattle over time. It's only audible at around 1200-1800rpm, and I think it's because they use poor quality resonators. I'm going to try and tighten everything up, and hopefully that will get rid of the rattle, but somehow, I'm pretty sure it won't be the case.

It wont matter genius, he still has the same test pipes and an HKS exhaust.

IVRY PRL, i'll let you know how they work out, and do you have the megan test pipes with flex joints or the older version?

The flex jointed ones. The part that I suspect is the culprit is the actual resonator itself, not the flex part.

LMAO!

Listen up noob.. An exhaust thats hooked up to a twin turbo engine will sound a lot different than the same exhaust hooked up to an N/A. engine.

As far as HKS with test pipes (resonated or not), that combo will always get alot of rasp. Yes, I have heard it in person. Now, whether you like it or not, is up to the individual hearing it

.
