Test Pipes

Need help deciding which test pipes to get, thinking megan racing, JVT or intense power. Here are some links to each one (JVT and IntensePower look the same. They also look like the ebay test pipes.)

Megan Racing:

IntensePower:

JVT:

Vendors often source/sell generic part labeled as their own. Not that many vendor have the resource to build/fabricate their own stuff. I'd advise inquiring on who make the parts they label as their own.

a buddy of mine got the intensepower resonated ones. He had them on for 15k miles before ending up totaling his G. sound wise it opened up his exhaust nicely with minimal rasp. Hes not a dyno ***** so I couldnt tell ya if he had any gains. Even he said the car felt the same afterwards.

...For me though, after seeing the quality of the welding on my FI piping, the intensepower ones looked weak. He never had an issue with fitment or actual quality. overall its not bad for the $150 bucks

Thanks for info
I ordered the megan racing V2 test pipes because the mod, Canadian, had close up pics of his before he installed them and they had fantastic looking welds. They also had flex joints and $154 shipped for some resonated test pipes was a steal!

Don't spend more than $180 on test pipes...

BTW your HKS will not like any test pipes at all.

If you get test pipes, make sure they are resonated. I would highly recommend the Fast Intentions Resonated test pipes. They are a little pricey for a piece of pipe (all resonated test pipes are more expensive), but its definately worth the difference.
