Ok guys,
I just ordered my plenum and I would like to replace my OEM cats. I don't know if I should go with the Helix pipes or the Crawfords cats. The Crawfords would be about 200 bucks more than the Helix pipes.. Any suggestions? What are the pros and cons of each one? Please respond..

i tried the helix pipes../.

didnt care for the raw unedited sound they emitted....

some like it, others do not...

no exp. with the cats, but id lean toward them anyway

If you want the Helix pipes I have a pair that I only had on for a day and I took it off. I didn't like the sound of it. It lost that deep beautiful sound that the g puts out. I'll sell it for $150 shipped.

 

go with the kinetix...I've heard and read great things all the way around on these. if you go to g-owners.com, they have a thread on these cats on the home page you can read about.

If your going with Hi-Flow Cats. You were right on with your choice. Crawford was my choice also. Nice mellow tone, power that can be felt, top quality workmanship, and perfect fit. They are works of art. Test Pipes flow better, so do R/T Cats, but the downside is sound, and if you have inspections, neither will pass a visual.

thanks guys.. I'll go will the crawford's cats, with the plenum and I'm still not sure about the exhaust.. I hear good stuff about the y pipe set up, but Doug from crawford told me that I should stick with the borla..
I'll cross that bridge later I guess..
