an intake is an intake.. They all make the same noise, some louder than others.

I doubt AEM and Nismo make the same exact intake.

I'm sure the AEM uses a different filter (Dryflow Technology) and different various parts, if you're saying that it shares the same DESIGN as the Nismo then I'll say you're correct, but they're definitely not the sale intake.

AEM makes the CAI for nissan. When You purchase the intake from the dealer it will say Nismo on the end of the filter and AEM on the piping!!

Aem/nismo

Restriction levels for this round tube/AEM synthetic combination are quite high. The filter resembles the OEM a great deal in a loading curve. It filters fairly well when new compared to poor performing oiled gauze but the restriction at even light loading is too high to be considered a true performance filter. There are better options available.

Nismo CAI

I have the Nismo cold air intake on my G sedan, along with the Motordyne thermal upgrade 5/16 plenum spacer. If I run my G hard and touch the top of the intake manifold... its still cold. I got a noticeable increase in power combined with my Stillen cat back exhaust. It pulls all the way to rev-limit....And the sound is unreal.

No. The 08 has dual intakes to the manifold.

How much gain do you get with the AEM CAI + dryflow air filter?
