Why does everyone hate the XO2 so much? Also, when you took it off did you have any issues like rust or anything like that?

So it's more the tips rusting and looking crappy, not being real Ti...that kind of stuff. In that it says to use to high temp clear coat to prolong the rusting. Would this be a good thing to do when first getting exhaust. I would think yes. So if that's the only issue then I'm about 95% set...still want to see the motordyne first...more so the price.

Aren't a $600 price tag and a brand name the only real difference?

no they have alot of differences...The x02 uses extension pipes between the cats and H-pipe to fit the g35 (more areas where it can spring a leak)...The

metal is not the same quality as the HKS...The tips rust as well as the rest of the exhaust (more so on salted roads)...Sounds different from the HKS...One

x02 exhaust i've seen had a brownish color to it. Fitment is not perfect like the HKS in some cases. But it does look like the HKS design wise and it is cheaper

so get whatever you want.

IMO X02 sounds better.

Only problem is that the tips arent titanium and have the titanium look.

My tips didn't sit right and burned my bumper but that was due to a poor install by the shop... When the exhaust was put on garry101's G35 it fit perfectly.

Yea my tips dont line up perfect with my HKS, but not every exhaust will, whether it be XO2, HKS, Fast Intentions etc.

True, even STOCK doesn't align perfectly sometimes. My stock sags on the right a tiny bit.

Hmm, since you both had the sagging issues on the right and both had mild fitment issues, and I don't have the right side sag, I'll be less likely for fitment issues? I know I'm prob just wishing on this one. from the videos online I like the XO2 better even tho it's real close to HKS. The xo2 with stock cats sounds like hks with HFCs i think...atleast my ears get that.

Tony the motordyne guy has said in a thread that his exhaust will come in at ~$500-$1500 depending on what configuration you are looking for. No matter what, it's going to be more expensive than the X02, perhaps significantly.

However none of the existing exhausts really do anything other than sound, and the quality of the X02 look is even debatable because of those wack *** brown tips. For me, spending any amount for a bit of noise is just senseless.

It sounds like you guys are really into sensory perception like how loud it is or how cool it looks. Does anyone know which one gives the best gains? And beyond feeling, does anyone actually dyno and or take their car to the track? Like, I'm not asking about racecar stuff but just maybe like running the quarter to see the true performance difference. I ask because I'm gettn my mind right to start lookn for an exhaust, lol. I do HATE when it's too loud though.
