Smile AEM CAI to SRI ?

Hi im new here ...

I got a AEM CAI ... Is there any way to use it as a SRI ?
I dont want to use as CAI because of WATER issues ..

indeed, unless your is the new 1 peice model but as long as its 2 peices it can be done. Also you can look into a 3" bypass valve like I did.

eh, people told me to use CAI and a bypass valve.
But is it really safe ?

unless you take ur intake into a puddle you should be okay....doesnt the aem have a water repelant <--spelling* filter also that come with it....

Yea ..People told me it should be okay if I be careful ..
And on the AEM website says it is totally safety if you use the bypass valve
But will AEM pay for my new engine if something happen ? hehe ..
And I work at an Industrial Area .. Vernon, CA .. If rain .. a LOT of puddles .. =( I got a 2 pieces AEM CAI .. I guess i will use as SRI ..

Go SRI, CAI hurts these engines more then helps.

PLEASE, if anyone knows how to make this CAI to SRI ... post it =)
I wasn't going to put an aftermarket INTAKE, but since my brother gave me this. I want it really bad =D

He got a Power Chamber Intake from 1000zero .. It sounds DAMN ! haha
