Pop Charger Rubber Trim Help
I got the Z tube and JWT pop charger installed over the weekend, but I had issues with putting the rubber edge trim onto the open end of the stock air scoop. I get it on, but there is a bit of overlap. I used a pencil to see if I pushed it down all the way into the groove and all of it is fine except for one small section, though it's not enough to have the large overlap that I have. Any suggestions?
The Overlap

Just to verify, I am putting it on correctly right?

Our temps here are high so first time I installed my trim, in about a year I noticed the trim had fallen off.
I bought new trim from Ben Pila at JWT and superglued it onto the heatshield and scoop. 8 months later the trim is still on.
