Hey wanted to get the pop charger and z tube for my G. But I was wondering instead of using the filter they provide with the kit, can I put the apexi one on instead?
From what I've read here
http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/filters_test/2/ it seems likes its the best. Would that affect the pop charger in any way???

the popcharger is the filter

just buy a z tube, JWT heat shield if thats what you want about $35 and then buy the filter of your choice

As I am also curious as I need a backup filter. =) If it works, then time to search for a good place to buy.
