I can sell you my Injen Intake. Sounds by far the best out of all of them and doesnt take power away like the Stillen according to some people. Its coming off my car either today or very soon.

Why are you taking it off if it makes power??? I heard that cold air intakes hurts the G due to length the air has to travel to get up to the engine.

I'm taking it off because i don't want it anymore and i want the money to spend on a front camber kit before my brand new tires get eaten alive. BTW, it came off today. Many people will tell you that the best CAI is the Injen.

Is this the correct Z-tube? I just want this for now, I do not have the cash toget full package. I am NOT car savy, so is it hard to install?

Oh.. I done all my suspension first before starting on power mods. I know camber kits are expensive. I am using SPL front and Stillen on the rear on my sedan.

What makes the Injen the best sounding intake? All of you talking out of your asses?? It's clearly not the loudest, and every intake for this car sounds pretty much the same.

Injen does make a pretty looking intake though.

hey fellaz, this is my first post, didnt wanna make a seperate thread cause my issue is the same.

basically my friend has an 04 g35 coupe also and his b-day is comin up. Ive been looking to get him an intake. Now i see pop charger, ztube, stillen kits, injen's, bla bla bla. I just wanna get him a simple $60 SRI off ebay. He could care less bout the power, noise is the only thing here, not like intakes make much power in the first place. So some thing like this would suffice

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/03-05...mZ320286938934

what are your thoughts?

also he had bought the extended warranty a while ago but voiding that is in the air sort of thing since they have to prove the problem caused was because of the intake so that should be ok, he has like close to 70k miles on it

my .02$

I just purchased the Injen CAI, Other than the fact of tearing the whole front end off and shaving some foam, im very impressed with it.

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recomend getting the Aqua net that covers it, due to the fact that when it rains the body shape of the car lets water flow VERY close to the filter if it runs off the windshield and down the hood. I tested it with a glass of water to see.
