looking to get an intake for my g35 coupe

Ive got a 2004 g35 coupe and im looking to get an intake..i was thinkin bout the STILLEN Z-Tube Intake Kit or STILLEN Hi-Flow Intake Kit wats the difference besides price? also is there anything better out there?

The Stillen Z-Tube Intake really isn't an intake. It's just a part of the intake from the 350z that you can put on a G35. The Hi-Flow Intake is an actual intake that includes a Z-Tube.

ok any thoughts or advice on an intake tho? stillen any good compared to any other options?

An intake is an intake.

If you like the stock look get the Stillen kit. Otherwise I think the JWT is a little cheaper.

It's really difficult to feel any power increase with an intake upgrade. The most notable difference is that your car sounds sportier.

^+1 Although it will make 3HP more at 6100rmps from dyno's I seen on here posted. I do like the sound though!!!

where can i find the JWT and how easy is install? and i shud also complete the JWT intake with a z tube correct?

search the marketplace here on the forum. Its a very simple install. Takes about 30 minutes if you the tools. Yea go with the ztube + pop charger combo.

can i do a dual pop charger or is that strictly for 07 coupes..i have a 04 coupe

^yea thats not gonna fit your car. Open up your hood and you'll see why. That's for the 07+ sedan and 08+ g37

thought so thanks for the second opinion so it looks like jwt intake with a z tube correct or a Injen CAI, but wud i still be better off putiing a z tube in with either of these? bit of a newb question but wats the diff between a pop charger and an intake or is it practically the same thing?

If you get the Stillen CAI or JWT pop charger you will need the ztube.

I like the Stillen over the JWT pop charger because it has a cover the cone filter better and looks stock under the hood.
