Another option if you have an 05/06 sedan is to use the smaller 03/04 sedan muffler. That setup will sound like this:

Wold anyone recommend replacing the resonator if I already have the coupe mid pipe? It sounds pretty good as it is now, but I wouldn't mind a little bit more grunt. I do not want any additional drone or excessive noise.

I'm afraid that removing the resonator would produce ugly rasp, something I really want to avoid. I wouldnt want it to produce a generic deep tone either, I much prefer something distinct and attractive sounding. Not sure if a Magnaflow resonator would fulfill all my wants.

This is just a magnaflow resonator added to the stock exhaust, in place of the stock resonator nothing else.

The resonator was a direct in size fit but had to be welded in by a shop.

It was 50$ on ebay and 50 to get welded on.

And the coupe midpipe is the same pipe as the sedan just the resonator is diffrent. So yes the magnaflow one can be put in the coupe midpipe.

I thought about putting a pipe in place of the resonator but as worried about rasp, so i spent the extra 50$

here is a link to the resonator I bought

Ill be adding a y-pipe and intake to the setup next week

Current mods in video are 5/16 spacer , magna flow resonator and z-tube.

The only difference between the coupe/sedan midpipes is the type of resonator? (Besides the shielding used to produce a flat underpan).
