Borla exhaust clearance problem

Just installed the Borla exhaust on my 6mt. Have a clearance problem where the right hand pipe leading from the car's right hand catalytic converter to the Borla front muffler touches the black crossmember and creates a rattle. The bolt-up of the front muffler to the cats creates a rigid positioning of the front muffler and adjustment of the rest of the pipe connections all the way to the rear seems to have no effect on this clearance issue.Anyone else have this issue and, if so, what did you do to fix it.

Re: Borla exhaust clearance problem

There have been some clearance issues with the Borla exhaust, but rotating one part or the other should solve these issues.

Re: Borla exhaust clearance problem

The same problem started to happen when the Borla was installed on my G, but we rotated it slightly and it solved the problem.

Re: Borla exhaust clearance problem

Well, rotating did not help so I resorted to brutal persuasion....took the car to a muffler shop that heated the pipe section up and then dented it in just enough to give sufficient clearance. 20 minutes and $20 and back on the road problem solved. Thanks for the replies.
