Exclamation Ordering a new exhaust! HELP!

hi, i am stuck between two roads...one is the road to STILLEN(true dual)....the other is the road to FAST INTENTIONS(intimidator)....i have not decided yet....

i have used the search button for about a month, and i just want answers from people who have had first hand experience on either one or both!

from what i know through searching, they both keep the unique vq sound just a little louder and both are true dual, and both have relatively the same gains

also the fast intentions has a 2.5 inch piping and stillen is 2.25 inch piping, but both good for NA which is what im doing

some people say that fast intentions is louder than stillen and some say stillen is louder than fast intentions

im looking for which one is almost like the stock but a little louder, and not too loud on idle or low rpm acceleration, but really brings the heat at high rpm acceleration

the problem is that i have an 06 G35 Coupe 5AT, and i've only read about 2 comments that mention that if you have an auto then there will be "drone" on both exhaust

also what is "droning"????

i do not know if it is true because they did not have first hand experience and it was only 2 comments

i have checked sound clips on youtube for both, but EVERYONE says "camera's do not do justice" or something like that

i have a few friends with 350z's and g35's but none have a fast intentions or a stillen, in fact all of them are stock except for one who has greddy evo2, but thats not what im looking for

atleast i have narrowed it down from 9 types of exhausts to 2 types!

what is your opinion on these two exhausts??? i would really appreciate it if you left sarcasm for someone else, i dont need that, thankyou!

Droning is this sound while cruising= vrOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

just straight up none stop in your ear.

I like the sound of both exhausts.. niether should drone w/ stock cats.. From what I've seen the Stillen makes more power but the fast intentions sounds better and looks nice.

"Rasp" is the little tinny sound that you hear on most ricer cars with fart cannons. . .

rly? hks? i saw a few video's(because i dont know anybody with hks) and they don't sound too promising compared to the FI and Stillen on video's.....

im just considering FI or Stillen because the shop im going to can match US price without shipping for those 2

i live in bc

so between stillen and FI which is better? i herd that FI is better because the weldings are amaizing and the smooth down the weldings both inside and out
havent herd about weldings on stillen

not to mention that the hks hi-power ti is out of my price range

stillen and FI are 1300 after taxes

also, power is not my primary choice

my stock exhaust doesn't sound as good as it use to nor does it feel as good, there is definately something wrong with it, i think it's from when my older bro would drive it, i would tell him to go slow on speed bumps or going up the driveway(during construction) and he would bang the muffler or mid pipe

not just like a little bang or a scratchy bang, but like a BANG!! like a FKING hammer going at a sheet metal!

so ya, when i do go to infiniti for servicing i know there are gonna try and sell me a new full exhaust, but checking there prices, OEM **** is expensive, so im gonna go with aftermarket

so ya, like i said power gains are not my first choice, its more of a looks and sound when it comes to NA, power is second(atleast i will notice SOME gains either way)

my mods are jwt popcharger with z-tube, md 5/16" iso copper thermal plenum spacer, buddy club racing spec condenser(grounding kit with voltage stabilizer), and uprev osiris tune with cipher

so im thinking which of the TWO exhausts that i mentioned would be suitable for these mods, sound wise...i know that either one would be good for performance....thanks

and like i said, hks is not an option for me...sorry to disappoint those who said i should go with hks

HKS is gay.

Its an exhaust people get to brag about that they paid over $1300 for. Just for 2 lousy titanium tips LOL
