How much money am I looking at for an intake with a nice growl? (Cheapest available)

How much money am I looking at for an intake with a nice growl? (Cheapest available)

Next question would be, what are the drawbacks of putting it in my car?

i bought my fujita F5 short ram on ebay for $155shipped
it has a mean growl pass 4-6,000RPM and a whistle sound
i love....

take the stock one out and don't run an intake at all. It will give u a nice growl.

Add a Z-tube
Remove the Power Duct cover
Remove the over radiator snorkel

It should be plenty loud.

i think it's the skinny extension of the airbox (as you face the car, it extends to your left)

Are there multiple manufacturers of the "Z-tube?" Or is that a brand-name or something proprietary?

And what are the drawbacks, if any? Do I have to pay like $200 every time I change filters? Where are the filters available? This is a first for me, so I'd need aaaalllll the details so that I don't screw up and waste money buying the wrong stuff. Ya know?

Sorry, Cato. Yesterday when I started this thread, the search option wasn't available for me. I was using Vista then. Now I'm at work with 2000. Could that have something to do with it?
