I bought the filter for my stillen intake system... Obviously had to cut off that front plastic, but what difference does that small piece make anyway? You can barely see that part anyway.

I like the filter; definitely has a nice roar to it, and butt-dyno seems to think the car's faster (though loudness may trick it into thinking faster).

No in advanced, I can't compare it to the K&N that originally came with the stillen kit since I got it used... so I didn't bother to clean/try it out.

There was a GB, you could go under the vendors section and ask one of the people that bought one what they think of it.

There not 400. Well the G37 is but not the G35. I have been working with R2C so I can offer there intakes. If there is enough people interested maybe I can start another (yes another) group buy. LOL is there a limit on group buys one person can have?

Edit: Opps didn't realize how old the thread was...

The problem with the R2C intakes is one of the owners came on here to promote the product and there was a lot of interest until they were pressed on dyno numbers/power gains. At the time they were around $400 for a plastic intake which would help with heat soak, I think people were close to buying them until the company rep started making excuses about why they would not provide dyno numbers. Everyone understood that dyno numbers can be subjective and do not tell the whole story but it was something to compare against other intakes...not too many people were willing to be the crash test dummy at $400 to see if it works.

Very good point. And I was for sure I saw a dyno for the G35 but the only one I found was for the G37.

but who are you? A new member that no one knows...

I'm not trying to discourage you or disrespect you... however; it’s silly to think a new member after a recently revived thread is going to have much credibility.

You do understand it seems suspect…

I am not with the company if thats what you are trying to say. I introduced myself a couple weeks ago in the off topic when i bought my G. I looked around the forums on intakes and found that IMO the R2C intake is the nicest looking intake available and I really wanted a dry flow filter so this intake worked out perfect. I just traded my cobalt SS for this car. Believe it or not.

found a website that just sell the intake without the tube for a really good price. I might just do it, since I already have the ztube.
