Nearly impossible to measure the very tiny gains accurately and be repeatable. Oem may work better in hot summer traffic or after a heat soak.

This topic has been beat to death on this forum and just about every other G35/350z forum. You will hear 10 different "bests" from 10 different people. Truth is that the open element filters will heat soak quicker than the stock OEM box, but they will sound better. Any dyno gains/losses from the different intake systems could be attributed to dyno tolerance/accuracy. Motordyne is doing some extensive R&D on their new intake, the Iso-Thermal Intake. Until we see those results my OPINION would be to keep the OEM box and drop in an aftermarket filter (you will see varying opinions on that one too!).
