You will need either an inch-lbs torque wrench or a leather glove and a nut driver. If you have either, the hardest part is out of the way.

I have a 03 g35 6MT, how do I know if I have a REVUP engine? I read the forum but couldn't find where to find it. I seen a post about a rev light at the dashboard, I don't have one so does that mean I don't have a REVUP engine? Would just the 5/16" ISO Thermal Plenum Spacers work then? I would buy the MREV2 but not if it won't work.

Rev ups were only available on the 05-06 models so you won't benefit from the MREV2. So get a spacer and install that puppy.

So being in California where it's minimum of 60 degrees and tops 95 where I live, should I get the 5/16" ISO Thermal Plenum Spacers then?

Since you see all 4 seasons, you could either get the full package (Copper ISO thermal kit w/spacer) or just do the plenum spacer by itself which is the cheapest. You would want to keep the ability to run engine coolant to the plenum to keep the throttle body from freezing in the winter. The gains from using aramid gaskets and bypassing the coolant are small and can only be noticed on a dyno.

As said above, the thermal kit is just another bonus to keep air intake temps a bit cooler. You could run it but it is not necessary at all.

^Cost outweighs the benefit so just go with the spacer. Unless cash isn't an issue

So it won't affect the car if I don't get it?
