Mrev ?

New to the G35 and have read up on the mrev2 and how its supposed to be a pretty good power adder. What I am wondering is this just a stock collector that is ported & polished out or what?

Its an OEM (non rev-up) lower collector machined to proprietary specs for max flow/gains.

In other words, if you don't have a Rev-Up engine, don't get one.

^^^ not entirely... there are other things that make sense first - but once you've done most (viable) bolt ons and are looking for a bit more, its actually worthwhile... I have a similar lower collector (on my non-revup) and with everything else I've done it has worked very well for me.

^^true. Mike I had stock valve springs to answer your question. Hopefully Dave will be finished with my lower collector soon.

oh wow! thats surprising... I ordered JWT just to be on the safe side... also I'm just going with rev-up rod bolts and keeping the stock DE rods - getting rev-up oil pump though and I think I'm gonna take it to 7500 if the cams let it make power high enough.

*Sorry for the off topic all... I left Derek a voice message and finishing it up here *

Derek, you'll love the lower collector! Make sure you get the last TBS (even though we know it does nothing )

yeah, they told me the same thing... they only recommend the springs if you use the C2s or rev higher than 7K... I'm already at 7200 and would probably be fine with the OEM springs - but I guess I want to safely push it a bit and see what more can be had without going full build... The quest for NA power is so damn expensive!!!! But I can happily say there aren’t many like mine and I hope to take it further

Are you back out here yet?… There might be a small meet up near Dave this Sat.
