maybe not... these parameters may work right for 3.7 liter engine flow dynamics... with dual intakes, different plenum, exhaust manifold and dual exhaust system.

I noticed a significant improvment over my stock DE Y pipe with the HR G37 Y - this is the one pictured with the smaller 1.75" downtubes. Better low end and improved shifts.

If I can find a 350z HR Y pipe I'll compare the two.

I'd like to see a side/by/side comparison between these Y pipes and the MD XYZ pipe (the one w/o the resonator and cats). That would be something to check out also

hey, i have 07 350z y-pipe and got an appointment from a shop to put it on so, everything goes smoothly in that right?
fits perfectly with no modification needed?
i just don't want to go there and they remove the old one and try to put the new one and doesn't work out just like its suppose to.
and how many gaskets do i need? the guy i bought it send me one gasket, is it enough? can we use the original bolts.
i will definitely update you guys when i put it on my 05 g35c 6mt stock exhaust.
i am curious about the and the improved shifting ppl talking about.

Lets put it this way....I went to a local muffler shop. Some small place. It took them about 10 mins and that included small talk about random stuff while I stood there.

I had about 28~29K miles on my dash at the time and was able to reuse my old gaskets. Everything fits like a glove. No extra pieces/modifications were necessary. They kept asking me why I'm changing pipes lol.

End result...I paid 50.00 for the work, had 0 leaks, and the sound was great! Any questions?

Sweet! Try to record some clips so we can see how it sounds on your car. I regret not recording any before I got my Berk HFCs.

All I know is that when you add some HFCs to your stock exhaust, it opens it up and sweetens up the sound even more.

Hello everyone
i got my hr-pipe installed,
yes i think there is a difference in sound but nothing major, I think that is is more when you go higher rpms like over 5000.
and about the performance, i am not sure yet.
i have stock exhaust,
i have before after videos so you can compare but the quality is not the best and it was raining today so there is little bit rain sound, anyways that's the best i have for now, let me know if you hear a difference, as i said i don't think it is too much.

WITHOUT Y-PIPE

AND HERE IS WITH HR Y-PIPE

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
The videos were shot from different sides of the car so I can't really tell any difference. Also the wind noise in the 'after' video was louder. Report back after you reset the ECU and let us know if that changes anything.
