Custom Exhaust (non name brand)

I was thinking about getting my exhaust done at a custom exhaust shop.
Those who have gone this route please post likes/dislikes.

I am going for more of a nice sound rather than gains.

The reason i want to do this is because it is waaaaay less $$. what kind of mufflers have people gone with?

Any information would be great.

Ive done it, I love it, abit of drone, but its not to bad, and it sounds sick!

its a 2.5 inch, mandrel bend. with an X-pipe and 4 resonators, instead of mufflers.

mine was about $850 but it depends who you go to. and it is true duel. so I would say yes.

also make sure if you do get it, get mandrel bent pipes only.

Xo2 $389 + 110 for shipping: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-G3...mZ300263112509

If you out an exhasut on yourself you will not know what it will sound like until it is finished, then you are stuck with it. If you buy one others have tried then you know what you are getting. I am only suggessting Xo2 because it sounds like you are trying to be frugal.

i have custom. i went with 2.5 from midpipe back connecting to a comaro style magnaflow muffler with dual tips.

only cost me $150.

i think it sound great. it has that stock sound just more aggressive, not much drone. Drone goes away after 1 1/2 rpm, on fwy's no drone what so ever. also there is no rasp.
