A universal manifold modification for use on any VQ35-DE engine. When used with or without a spacer or aftermarket upper plenum, this lower plenum will make substantial power gains.
Multiple independent test show when used with a 5/16" spacer on the revup engine, the combination will add a "minimum" of 15+ HP and 18+ TQ in the upper midrange. Many independent MREV 2 Manifold REVUP tests have dynod in excess of 20HP and 30 TQ in the upper midrange and with high RPM peak power increased by 3-5 HP.
The MREV2 is a prerequisite to the plenum spacer when used on a revup engine. No other normally aspirated VQ modification provides as much gain as the MREV 2 Manifold!
Note: A $100 core buyback is available for those of you with non-revup lower collectors. Contact us for more information.

Yeppers, that's what it is. Someone found out that if you put an 04' lower plenum on an 05' "Rev-up" motor, you got more HP in the mid to upper ranges. Motordyne did a little flowbench testing and came up with some mods that almost doubled the out put. The least you get is 10 the most is over 14 (if I remember right) and there are dynos on here to prove it.

Some people will tell you that you don't need a torque wrench, but you really should use one. I went to Harbor Freight and picked up a cheap one (enough to keep me out of trouble) that measures in Inch Pounds for $20.
Its worth it to keep from snapping off a bolt and having to deal with all that mess.

man, is the spacer really that noticeable?? this is like the last mod i was going to do and i've been back and forth for the longest time now. reading through this thread got me thinking of purchasing it again.
i just hear so many peeps talking about how the rpms drop and jump around, engine lights coming on, etc. makes me wary.
