I think he is making the HFC and the TP at the same time, which will be released soon...hopefully.

There is an adapter to the XYZ that you can put on at the end of the XYZ to have a catalytic converter. Not sure if it is a High Flow though.

Tony,

How much decrease in HP/TQ do you expect from the Catalytic converter compared to the straight pipe and resonated pipe. Is this a 2 stage(is that the right word) catalytic like stock?

Yes, the HFC is available as part of the XYZ pipe.
It clamps in place of the straight pipe.

It gives you the option of using test pipes while still being able to have a HFC to get rid of the test pipe stink. Its also very easy to switch out with the XYZ straight pipe for an extra 3HP for the track days.

Of course, none of this can be done with regular test pipes or HFC's. Once they are intalled, that's it. They arent easy to switch out.

The resonator produces the same HP as the straight pipe but it offers a slight increase in TQ.

Any idea when the Shockwave might be released for the G37? Is it possible to take it to an exaust shop and make the G35 version fit my car? Or are they too different?

Can I test your shockwave for you? I am in love with it

will the GTSpec braces fit the dual shockwave exhaust for a coupe?

Thanks,
-Wes

Rear lateral arm brace cannot fit at all. The pipe on the right is hitting the brace.

Rear lower tie brace can fit the shockwave but has clearance problem with the gamma (i am going to ask my shop to trim it to try to fit it in).

I'm still waiting for someone to take a good complete (reving, drive by, and wot) sound clip of the shockwave (the one on this thread goes quiet halfway through).

Tony from Motordyne and I have been playing around lately, and wanted to pust up the new setups he's offering for the 350Z (and G35 coupe).

While my car was up in the air here at Riverside Infiniti, we test fit these sample shots for you all:

1) Straight Pipe Dual Design w/Titanium Tips

2) Polished twin muffler setup w/titnaium tips:

3) Titanium twin canister setup (let drooling commence)(sorry for any confusion, this is a titanium rear section only, the mid pipe and XYZ are still stainless).

The three above setups are modular, and you can exchange the setups, while keeping the same XYZ and mid pipes.
Here are pics of the rest of the setup:

Clearance of Sway Bar, PLENTY of room

MD logo, custom made mufflers, not off the shelf parts:

Now, something we found out on my car:
I have the GT spec Rear Lower Tie Brace installed. With how the mufflers are situated on both setups other than the straight pipe design, the muffler will hit the flange of the GT spec bar. The bar cannot be used with these setups unless you want to shim your exhaust down from the rear-most muffler hanger a tad bit.

Sales note:
(All parts should be ready for sale from Motodyne Direct to begin with, contact HYDRAZINE for more details on prelim pricing and availability)

If you're local and want to see the exhaust in person, swing by our dealership in Riverside we will have the Titanium version on display along with any other Motordyne products you may be interested in. )
where on the website is the twin canister exhaust?
