Shockwave TDX

Got the Motordyne Shockwave TDX exhaust, installed it last weekend with MREV2 and 5/16 spacer.
The exhaust is great, build quality is amazing. Every weld, cut, bend is made with such detail. Tony makes some really amazing parts
Here are some audio clips of it.
<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SV6OC9qRClo&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SV6OC9qRClo&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>

I was also thinking about pick up some HFC, any recommendations?

^ I think the link is broken, or maybe it's just me

I get my Gamma TDX installed next week . I think Tony is in the process of making HFC's, maybe you should wait for those.

Tony already made HFC section for the XYZ.

He is making test pipes that go from 2.25 to 2.5"

I love the HFC i have...much deeper tone and no rasp...plus good difference when i installed them in performance.

Not sure about oem size but these are definitely not small, there around 4inches. I think the rolled edges make them look smaller but i love them. And Thanks!

pl_G35 - great video. THe vid made me really want to go w/Motordyne for the exhaust system. I already have the spacer and Mrev. What's the gain on performance for this exhaust?

This exhaust is perfect! The tips look very classy and aggressive at the same time.. I get asked all the time where I got those blue tips from.. I've been trashing my G a lot more since I got that exhaust haha.. Its just too much fun to listen to. As far as HFCs I went for the Berks because they use the stock mounting brackets!

There have been many independant dynos posted in this thread and in this forum section.

Some are linked on the Motordyne website.

hey tony, although it is already pretty loud (SHOCKWAVE))))))))))))))), i wanna take it to the next level until MOTORDYNE test pipes and your new type of HFC are ready.

just wondering if you could somehow compare the resonator VS straight pipe.
how much louder? (0-10 scale maybe)
how much rasp?
drone?

If you have stock cats, going from the XYZ resonator to XYZ straight pipe will make no difference in rasp or drone but it will make it slightly louder and brighter.

The XYZ resonator makes much more of a difference when test pipes are used. In that case, it greatly attenuates rasp.
