tony what do you see as a better combo

Aftermarket HFC's w/ MD Straight Pipe

or

Aftermarket Test Pipe w/ MD HFC

Definitely the latter.

You get the lower cost and better gains of test pipes but you are still open to using the XYZ catalytic converter, resonator or straight pipe. Which ever you need for your application.

Switching out modules on the XYZ is exponentially easier than swapping test pipes for regular HFC's. And the XYZ HFC costs about 1/2 as much as regular HFC's.

If you ever plan to take out your stock cats, the XYZ (with all things considered) is a lower cost, higher performance and much more elegant design with options.

Here are some pics, and you will not believe the gains I got with this! I posted the dyno's up as well so you can see for yourself!
We ran 3 dyno's on stock exhaust (w/test pipes) and 3 dyno's on MD Shockwave Dual Ti (w/test pipes)
Greatest investment ever! I look forward to what's next from Motordyne!

It all depends on the dyno and the calibration. I hit 254whp with only a lightweight flywheel.

tune makes a huge different.. especially for AFR.. I have CEL for Bank 1 and Bank2 02 sensors since I don't have non-foulers...
Also, my ride is 5AT

Wow. I wasn't really considering an aftermarket exhaust until I saw/heard this clip. Very nice.

^ +1 - Great video. I want my car to sound like that.

Do you think the test pipes vs HFC's will make much difference?

Tony, what's the lead time for this exhaust?
